Hey, my name is Jennifer and I am a keyboard enthusiast ! I got my first Pc at the age of 6-7 and since then I have always used keyboards mainly for gaming and typing. A few years ago I started using pre-built mechanical keyboards and loved the feeling but I was not completely satisfied with them as the looks were all the same and the sound was sometimes too loud.
One day, I discovered that not only you could change the aesthetic of keyboard with simple things such as keycaps BUT you can also build your own custom mechanical keeb to your liking/preferences.
Fast forward to 2021 when I felt the need to share my journey but also learn along with the community so I started my Instagram account called @get.switched . I have since then been sharing my setup evolution & keyboard collection with you all throughout photos and videos. I really enjoy making these quick formats so you can appreciate and learn about keyboards at the same time. Building keyboards allows me to relax without using any electrical devices and the editing part allows me to be creative so that’s a win for me in a way !
Fun facts about me
- It took me 6 hours to lube my first batch of switches
- I am french but grew up in London for 4 years
- My birthday is in March so I am a Pisces (so emotional lol)
- I don’t really enjoy soldering

Since I have been sharing my builds, I constantly receive DMs and comments on my feedback, building experience or simply details about the build. It’s no surprise that I love to build keyboards, and now am able to build yours. Building for me is fun but I enjoy assembling and modding keyboards for other to match our preferences and it also allows me to test combinations that I would not go for since I have my own preferences.
